Originally known as Bill Moore Productions, now A2Z Logos, began in 1959 at the Lafayette Hotel by Bill Moore, a WW2 veteran. Bill worked out of one office in the Lafayette Hotel, where his daughters accompanied him at the young age of 5. At the time, Bill Moore was a diamond salesman in Utah, until he moved to San Diego and found a niche where advertising and promotional products met. He could sell products like magnets, vinyl telephone book covers, and 911 phone stickers that included advertising from the businesses that bought it, or also known as indoor billboards. The was an effort to provide a community service through useful writing space while having emergency and non-emergency numbers customized to suit your needs.

As time went on, phones became mobile and refrigerators stopped including magnets, so Bill focused his efforts towards specialty advertising. In 1989, Bill's daughters, Joanie and Pat, were involved in the family business by working as saleswomen and accountants.

In 2008, Bill Moore Productions changed their company structure and Bill passed the business off to Joanie. Joanie continued to expand on Bill's ideas into the specialty advertising industry where she helps businesses find any promotional products they desire like backpacks, tumblers, watches, chairs, glasses, and 700,000+ products that help businesses stand out from their competition. During this time, Joanie continued to build on strong standing relationships in the San Diego community, and while owning the business, she was the president of the board for the San Diego Executive Association and Board of Governors, was on the board of the Mission Valley Tobey Wells YMCA, and served on the international committee of the YMCA of South Africa. Joanie also started a family with her husband Shane, a retired Naval commander, and had 3 children, Brittany, Sarah, and Seth.

Over the years, phone book covers and 911 stickers have turned into Yeti tumblers, Patagonia sweaters, and Ray-Ban sunglasses. As time has gone by, Joanie has made a special effort to stay adaptable to the times and what businesses need.

Like Joanie 50 years ago, Sarah grew up in the Bill Moore office, playing with the phone book in the back. She then helped her mom as she moved into A2Z Logos, by going to networking events, helping with preparing deliveries, and holiday specialty gift wrapping. Joanie has worked with clients such as Qualcomm, Nielsen Construction, Dyno Electric, Walter Anderson, BioDuro Sundia, Mesa Labs, Agena, UCSD, Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek - just to name a few. Now, Joanie is still running the business while integrating her daughter, Sarah, and her son-in-law, Nick, into the business. Their current focus is to try to revamp the business's online presence and adapt to the current market needs, as Bill and Joanie did in the past. Sarah got her MBA at SDSU while working full time and Nick his undergrad at USF. Now, A2Z Logos is including its 3rd family generation of workers with the goal to expand the business and focus on customer needs.
