A2Z Logos, originally founded in 1959 as Bill Moore Productions at the Lafayette Hotel, was started by Bill Moore, a WWII veteran who discovered a niche in promotional products after moving from Utah to San Diego. Bill began by selling items like magnets, phone book covers, and 911 stickers that served both as advertising and community resources. As trends shifted, he transitioned the business toward specialty advertising, bringing in his daughters, Joanie and Pat, in 1989. In 2008, Joanie took over the company, expanding its reach to over 700,000 promotional products while also serving in leadership roles within the San Diego community.
Over the years, A2Z Logos has evolved from phone book covers to modern branded items like Yeti tumblers, Patagonia sweaters, and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Joanie has built lasting client relationships with companies such as Qualcomm, UCSD, and Nielsen Construction, always focusing on adapting to business needs. Like her mother, Sarah grew up around the company and now, alongside her husband Nick, represents the third generation joining the business. Today, A2Z Logos continues its family legacy with a renewed focus on online growth, customer needs, and helping businesses stand out.
